Acceptable use policy
Last updated 25 October 2026
What you may not do with a site, domain or mailbox provided by Heberlis, and what happens if it happens. It forms part of our terms of service.
Not allowed
- Spam: sending unsolicited bulk email, buying or renting address lists, or hiding who the sender is.
- Malware: hosting, distributing or controlling viruses, ransomware, trojans or networks of compromised machines.
- Phishing and fraud: imitating another business or a bank, collecting credentials or card details, or misleading people about what you sell.
- Illegal content: child sexual abuse material, terrorism, content that infringes others' rights (counterfeits, copyright), harassment, incitement to hatred.
- Attacks: denial of service, port or vulnerability scanning, intrusion, cryptocurrency mining on our resources, open relays or proxies.
- Selling goods or services that are prohibited, or regulated ones without the required licences.
What we do
When we learn that a service breaches this policy, we check. In an emergency — phishing, malware, a mass mailing under way, an order from an authority — we suspend at once and tell you afterwards. Otherwise we write to you first and give you a reasonable time to put it right.
For a serious or repeated breach, we may end the service. We cooperate with authorities where the law requires it.
Reporting abuse
Write to contact@heberlis.com with "Abuse" in the subject, naming the address concerned and what you saw. See also our terms of service.
