Before you start
IMAP access must be switched on for your mailbox. In Zoho Mail on the web (mail.zoho.eu): Settings, then Mail Accounts, choose your address, tick "IMAP Access" and save. If you are not sure, ask us from the Support tab.
If two-factor authentication is on for your Zoho account, your app will refuse your normal password: create an application-specific password in Zoho's security settings and use that instead.
Android phones come with different email apps: many use the Gmail app (see its own article), Samsung phones have Samsung Email. The steps are close in all of them.
In your email app
- Open the app's settings and choose Add account (or Add email address).
- Choose Other (not Google, Outlook or Yahoo), and enter your full email address.
- Choose Manual setup, then IMAP (sometimes "Personal (IMAP)").
- Enter your password, then the incoming and outgoing servers from the table below, with your full address as the user name.
- Finish, then send yourself a test message to check both directions work.
